Your Privacy and Personal Information

Twin Waters Medical Practice is fully compliant with Australian privacy laws and the RACGP standards for management of your personal and health information.

Our practice is committed to providing the highest quality care. To help us do this, we engage a secure clinical decision support and analytic tool called Primary Sense. Strictly De-identified information is securely shared with our local Primary Health Network (PHN) via Primary Sense for population health planning. No personal details ever leave the practice. All data management complies strictly with Australian privacy laws and data security standards. If you do not want your de-identified health data used in this way, please let our reception or management team know. Choosing to opt out will not affect the quality of care you receive at our practice.

Feedback

Your feedback is important to us. Please feel free to talk to the Practice Manager or the reception staff. You may prefer to write to us or use the suggestion box. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously.

Appointments:

Online Bookings is run by AutoMed, an appointment system to minimise your waiting time. Urgent appointments are seen on the day.   Due to unforeseen circumstances, such as an emergency, sometimes delays can occur.  Your patience would be appreciated if this should happen.  

 

If you require a longer appointment, please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment.  We ask patients to arrive on time for their appointment for the convenience of all patients.

New Patients:

At Twin Waters Medical Practice we warmly welcome all new patients. If you would like to become a patient, please call 07 5450 5577 to make your initial appointment.

Appointment Cancellation Policy:

Non-Attendance Fee of $100 for failing to attend your appointment, payable before any further appointments will be booked.

After Hours:

For all After Hours emergencies please call 000.  

 

For After Hours outside of normal Business hours, please contact Hello Home Doctor on 134 100 or contact one of our local hospitals.

Recalls and Reminders:

We do require all patients to make an appointment for test results. Please call  reception staff on 07 5450 5577 or book online.​

Patient Feedback:

At Twin Waters Medical Practice we welcome patient feedback. Please ask reception staff for either a patient survey or suggestion box form for completion.

We take your concerns and feedback seriously. If you have any concerns about our services please feel free to talk to our reception, or email our Reception Manager pm@twinwatersmedical.com.au. We believe that problems are best dealt with within the practice.
